branding being bigger in america makes sense - we are some self-intersted kids.
so I was reading about the chinese brands, how they are fewer and weaker than the american branding system. I can't decide if I think that it makes more sense that they should be more into or less into hierarchal corporate instituions or not - probably not since a strong sense of national community would undercut the need for smaller grouped ties? who knows.
the best thing I have seen in awhile
I know this may be goofy to talk about but I saw the best thing that I have ever seen today - compressed paper and resin to make counter tops out of. Think about it, the company produces paper waste and that in turn becomes the counter tops they install. Holy crap - superficial equivalent to solving world hunger - actually incredible material.
I may feel for the bankers caught in the crisis more than I let on...
Honestly, when you need to make money and you are a small piece of a large ponzi scheme - and there are stolenm identies, false credit ratings, and fictional accounts, names, and or transactions, how can you be sure what to do? It is a state sanctioned mafia and honestly, unless we return to the fife system, I have to idea how it oculd be avoided.

anything out of context is funny and the format is 140 characters, the challenge is making it seem coherent which is almost impossible since the context of twitter is no context - you are being set up to produce memes that, in a sea of memes, seem out of context. it is genius
why you can argue that fashion and pornography are the same thing...

But, fashion can make people look better, slimmer, more hour glassed, causing boners, the same way pornography does, and so it also facilitates sex. what he really did was explain to women why men resent the fact that they spend money on clothing - that may or may not be for them but pornography always is.
