I actually really don't see how that is poor taste at all. Throwing a show that draws a connection between urban decay/the fall out of economic depression and the impulse to create and enjoy an aesthetic experience, to me, is not poor taste at all. In fact, I think it is in better if not the same taste as throwing a show in an economically depressed area utilizing cost prohibitive means. Huh.
Just saying, a show of high tech micro homes that costs the same amount as a homeless shelter for homeless people is poor taste... and still art.
