re: laziness of the underclass

I know this isn't the reason that I am unemployed, and I know this is a tiny portion of the work force, but stores are not closing because they are under staffed, they are closing because there is a lack of business.  true, new stores open in place and hire near the same amount of people but there would always have to be more customers than employees.  I'm still not sure that white collar jobs and menial labor cover the rest of the work force. I guess that is why welfare is considered part of the stimulus, right?
