re: money shot

so  few months ago I got "Money shot," and have picked it up on and off (It's a fun and should be quick read but I am being weird...) anyhow...one point caught my eye - "...it seemed far more likely that the 13-year-old consenting meekly to sexual harassment learned her passivity not from adult videos, but from a wider culture in which sexism was largely a given."  true, but that culture is one that sees her as a potential object to beat into submission with a possibility to sustain herself through such videos, right?
