So, I was at Chase today working out my doomed credit and had a good idea:
I asked what was going to happen if I failed to secure an income (which is likely under my current circumstances) and was told that eventually I would end up in a court mandated to pay off the debt. Nothing about this surprised me, so I asked if the court would then help me secure a job, even a temporary one, or sentence me to community service. I was told, "no," but wouldn't that be a good idea?!? If there were a few rotating positions at the court house that served to just help people relieve their debt? YES. And I created a job - trainer of said "delinquent" accounts...
